Mental Health Services

ANGER MANAGEMENT
This group is for those with anger issues, assault charges that do not involve domestic violence, and those learning to control their emotions.
THINKING ERRORS
Clients have usually been charged with other crimes such as burglary or theft. Assignment and workbooks are used extensively in the group and homework assignments are given.
TRAUMA-FOCUSED TREATMENT
Seeking Safety: This group is offered for women or men to develop skills to move past traumatizing experiences that have often led to maladaptive behavior.
SOCIAL SKILLS DEVELOPMENT
Kids PRS Group: Focuses on building self-efficacy, relationships, improving life skills while having fun.
RESPITE SERVICES
These services are offered to children with Medicaid who meet qualifications based on diagnosis and need. Includes 8 hours of life skills and activities.

Substance Use Treatments

DRUG COURT
For adults with criminal charges that qualify. Drug court is a minimum commitment of 18 months broken down into 5 phases. Treatment varies from 2 to 5 days a week with mandatory urinalysis testing 3 times per week.
INTENSIVE OUTPATIENT PROGRAM
For adults meeting criteria of ASAM level 2.1. The intensive outpatient program is offered 4 days per week for 2 hours each day. Individual or family sessions are also recommended weekly. Urinalysis testing is mandated 2 days per week.
STANDARD OUTPATIENT PROGRAM
For adults meeting criteria of ASAM level 2.1. The intensive outpatient program is offered 4 days per week for 2 hours each day. Individual or family sessions are also recommended weekly. Urinalysis testing is mandated 2 days per week.
TEEN STANDARD OUTPATIENT PROGRAM
This program is for young adults 18 years and under. Individual and family sessions are recommended. Random urinalysis testing is mandatory 1 day per week.
STRENGTH IN NUMBERS (AFTERCARE)
A weekly group that meets for 1 hour. Available to those not in the court system or who have completed court-mandated treatment and would like to continue to receive group therapy.

Court Involved Treatment

MORAL RECONATION THERAPY
Moral Reconation Therapy is an evidence-based program for those with multiple criminal charges. This group meets for 1.5 hours per week and follows an evidence-based workbook.
TEEN MORAL RECONATION THERAPY
This is an evidence based program for adolescents that focuses on completing the MRT workbook. Family and individual sessions recommended.
JAIL LIFE SKILLS AND RECOVERY
The class members are county adjudicated inmates or serving prison sentences while being housed at the Summit jail. Topics covered are stages of change, anger management, family relationships, conflict resolution, and self-development.
DOMESTIC VIOLENCE- MORAL RECONATION THERAPY
Domestic Violence- Moral Reconation Therapy is an evidence based program that follows a workbook aimed at increasing awareness of one’s emotional responses that may lead to externalized aggressive behaviors.

Structure Psychotherapy for Adolescents Responding to Chronic Stress is a program that aims to help traumatized adolescents build on their strengths and resilience through an evidence based workbook program.

PATHWAYS DOMESTIC VIOLENCE SHELTER
Emergency shelter for individuals and families seeking safety from domestic violence. Pathways offers a warm, safe, home-like environment with well trained and caring professionals present 24/7 to assist our guest in the process of recovery and rebuilding.

Prevention Services

ABOUT
Our prevention team aims to promote healthy lifestyles and reduce substance abuse and other problem behaviors that may put our youth at risk. We utilize evidence-based practices and work to engage community leaders, organizations and agencies in uniting their prevention efforts.
CLASSES
Prime for Life: State-mandated group for 1st time DUI offenders. It consists of 4 classes over 4 nights totaling 16 hours. It’s taught in both English and Spanish when needed.

Teen Prime For Life: This group is based off the adult Prime for Life Program. This is an evidence-based workbook focused program for those under 21 years old.
