New Reflection House is a community-based rehabilitation program for individuals with long-term mental illness.
This program provides a supportive and accepting community in which members gain a sense of belonging and accomplishment through meaningful work and relationships. The Clubhouse is designed to integrate its members into the community and assist them in achieving their ambitions.
Our Programs
The Work Ordered Day
The work-ordered day involves members and staff working together, to run the Clubhouse. All clubhouse tasks aim to assist members in reclaiming their self-worth, purpose, and confidence. New Reflection House emphasizes its members' strengths, talents, and abilities, allowing them to participate in all clubhouse activities.
Recreational and Social
We have recreational and social programs during the evening and on weekends. Major holidays are celebrated on the actual day they are observed. These activities allow members to socialize and build relationships with other members and staff of the Clubhouse.
Wellness
The Clubhouse provides ongoing support and education about personal wellness. The program includes educational workshops coupled with skill development for members to learn more about their physical and mental health.
Employment Programs
The employment program enables New Reflection House members to return to paid work through transitional and independent employment. Members obtain confidence, self-respect, and vocational skills through community-based employment.
- Transitional Employment: A work training program that provides members with part-time, entry-level job placements with local businesses. The Clubhouse offers support on the job according to the needs of each individual.
- Supported & independent employment: New Reflection House assists members in securing, sustaining, and upgrading their employment.
