Valley's residential treatment facilities provide safe, effective, evidence-based care for adults who have experienced profound negative consequences from issues related to behavioral health conditions, substance use, trauma, criminogenic risk factors, and co-occurring disorders.
In residential treatment, individuals have the opportunity to address behavioral, emotional, and mental health needs with the guidance of licensed mental health professionals. A combination of individual, group therapy, case management, and medication-assisted treatment provides continuous care that facilitates the healing process and aids in promoting improvement even after the individual completes treatment.
Valley EPIC and Valley Phoenix
Valley EPIC (Evidence-based Programs and Interventions Campus) and Valley Phoenix are programs designed for men and women in the community who may be struggling with substance use disorders, behavioral health conditions, and homelessness. These programs offer a full continuum of treatment, from residential and day programs to intensive, traditional outpatient services.
These programs were designed to integrate substance use treatment approaches with a special focus on trauma-informed care. Our goal is to help people break the chains of addiction, which includes a successful re-entry into the community and a reduction in criminal recidivism.
CORE
Valley’s CORE (Co-Occurring Re-Entry and Empowerment) programs are paving the way. Valley offers both a men’s program (CORE I), and a women’s program (CORE II). The CORE programs are dual diagnosis treatment, with a primary focus on mental health and a secondary focus on substance use.
Valley Steps
Valley Steps helps men who experience significant barriers to obtaining and maintaining housing due to high acuity mental health needs, financial barriers, and access to resources. Valley Steps works with individuals to gain access to onsite mental health services to stabilize and integrate into Supportive Housing or the community. Participation in the program provides mental health treatment, promote continued recovery from substances, improve emotional functioning, and promote personal responsibility.
